The short version: Glass collects no personal data. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no ads.
Glass has no user accounts and embeds no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. Your surf profile (ability, board, saved spots, settings) is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.
If you tap "Use my location", your coordinates are used once, on your device, to find surf breaks near you. Your position is never stored by us and never linked to your identity. You can use every feature of the app without granting location access.
To display forecasts, the app requests weather data from Open-Meteo (CC-BY 4.0) and, if you open them, the live map and webcams from Windy.com. These requests contain the coordinates of the surf spot being viewed and are used transiently to answer the request — nothing is retained by us. Their own privacy policies apply.
Surf alerts are local notifications scheduled entirely on your device. No push server is involved.
